School at the Limestone Alps National Park

The educational programme of the Limestone Alps National Park enjoys great popularity among the schools.  Trained national park guides accompany the pupils on their adventure walks and draw their attention to fascinating details.

Multiple options for different age groups allow the children and young people to take part in national park events more than once during their ”school career”.  The programme ranges from (half) day to whole-week events.  All options have intensive nature and social experiences in common.  On discovery tours the children become researchers and learn about the mysteries of life in the forest, along a mountain creek or on the alpine pastures in an entertaining way.  At the National Park Bird School children will learn about the footprints of migratory and non-migratory birds and hear astonishing stories about the singing birds of the forest.  Those who are more adventurous may want to take a guided cave tour to the “Kreidelucke” (“chalk window”).

Taster days at the National Park
If you want to get to know the Limestone Alps National Park, come and spend three taster days at the National Park Education Centre at the Brunnbach School (Großraming) and in other accommodations in the National Park region any time of the year. 

A week in the sea of trees
Well-trained national park guides provide a two-day programme full of intensive nature experiences and exciting adventures in the forest and on the brooks.  The remaining time will be at your free disposal.
